Listen, just cause it’s a new year doesn’t mean that things in 2017 are written off, you are not in debt. Trust me I know. Your body count is still quite high, your feelings got broken, both men and women are trash and other stuff, it’s just a ‘new year’ to start afresh and make it a good year for you. I bet ya, you’re making a list of new years resolutions which are longer than your weave but then you realise its May 2018 and you’ve barely done 1 of the new year’s resolution and have to cram 5 in by June. You’re not at Uni you know, can’t be cramming in life experiences like that. Make sure it’s attainable and something you can do! Otherwise, you’ll be looking at a hot mess.

Listen when these goals aren’t going to plan, it’s not BBM days when you put your DP on black and make a status saying, ‘I am not talking to anyone’. Abeg you fix up please, no-one has time to be checking in constantly and see how you get on for yourself unless you have a mentor, family or that ‘annoying but means well’ friend. Otherwise its everyone for themselves, I mean look at the way Brexit is getting handled. #issamess. You have to motivate yourself and want your goals. Can’t be broadcasting like it is a WhatsApp group about your goals for the gym or stop smoking or travelling but your passport has expired. Don’t mug yourself off, it’s not worth it.

It’s good you want to be different in the new year. Change can be beneficial. Think how do I see this change, and will it benefit me? What do I need to do to make the change? If you wait till Jan 1st when everyone is ‘making movements’, you might get lost in the sauce. These movements that are so silent, you must ask are you driving a hybrid while making these movements? *WhatsApp thinking emoji* If you had these plans and ideas in 2017, you need to be cropping and planting the seed of success. Change for you, when you are ready and be disciplined.
